Holding a Mechanical Degree from the Université de Rennes 1 on the "Characterisation and modelling of life-size gaseous flows during the composting of organic waste - Application to the expert assessment and optimisation of processes", he then went on to complete two PhDs at the CIRSEE (Suez Environnement) and the fluid mechanics institute of Toulouse. He specialises in changes of scale, mixed models and multi-stage flows in heterogeneous and reactive porous media.
Role : Modelling and simulating flows in porous media (Fluid Mechanics). Developing applications related to the industry (industrial composting, groundwater contamination, biofilms…). Working on the "landscape" topic on the water/sediment interface. Developing a 3D groundwater model for TNT2.
